Pool pumps are the most important tool in maintaining swimming pools. And having a pool pump needs a proper installation, we’re giving few tips before installing a pool pump—without giving you much hassle.
- Swimming pool pumps aren’t the same. They differ in size, shape and even in capacities. So keep an eye for different quality available as manufacturers usually lessen the costs and components in a minimum level to sell their product over their competitors.
- If you want to check the capacity of a swimming pool pump, divide the pool’s volume by 4 and divide the result by 60,000 liters. Remember that 60,000/4=15,000/60=250 is the net minimum number of quantity (in liters) which pump will be needed to generate in a minute.
- Evaluate the flow rates for a given point of pressure. For instance, 12 meters. Ask a seller for the quantity for each pump at that set of pressure.
- Pool Pumps are available in different sizes and different energy levels. 250 l/m requires 750 to 1000 watt and 350 l/m requires 1200 to 1500 watt.
- Cheaper pumps are not different from the expensive pool pumps. They circulate more water in similar quantity but they create more noise in its functioning.
